Kym Fraser

Many of you will have met Kym in her role as receptionist, prior to joining us Kym spent over 15 years working in Mental Health, after giving birth to her 2 beautiful children (Brodie and Eilidh) she struggled to return to the sector.  When Joy retired James (who is Kym's father-in-law) offered Kym the role of part-time receptionist which would give her the flexibility to return to her previous position once ready, however she has decided to stay with us and for that we are grateful!

Kym works with us 2 days a week and as a qualified Beauty Therapist also works from a salon in Castle Street - check out "The Lash Lounge" on Facebook for all your beauty needs! She is also a keen and talented photographer and has captured many family events and weddings.

In her spare time she is a keen rugby fan (must the the Scoular influence!) and at weekends watches her daughter horse ride and her son play rugby.

At home (which Kym describes as "hectic"!) she has 2 young cats - Willow and Darcy and 5 dogs - Alfie the labrador, Tilly the sprocker, Indie and Sal who are springers and Bracken (the least well behaved?!) wire haired pointer - thankfully she knows a good local vet! 

Amanda Barnett 

Amanda joined our reception team in 2022 and shares the reception rota with Kym.

Amanda is currently studying her Level 2 Diploma to become a Veterinary Care Assistant with The College of Animal Welfare.

Outside of work Amanda is kept very busy running a taxi service for her 2 children and at weekends watching them play football, inbetween these tasks she cleans her house, feeds her brood and walks her gorgeous labrador, Boe.  At work Amanda needs sweet snacks to keep her going (her words, not ours!).
